AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Modeler to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. As a key member of our hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality analysis group, you will be responsible for working on and leading staff in a wide range of hydraulic applications for water, wastewater, or collections system projects locally, throughout the U.S., and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and collaborate with staff on hydraulic modeling and design projects
  • Develop and implement hydraulic profiles for water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Provide design input and coordination for conveyance conduits and pipelines for state-of-the-art treatment plants
  • Conduct hydraulic transient analysis and equipment sizing for various control valves, distribution chambers, and outlet structures
  • Model and analyze collection systems for sanitary and combined systems
Requirements:
  • BA/BS + 4 years of related experience in hydraulic modeling and design of water/wastewater treatment facilities and distribution systems
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Experience leading modeling aspects of projects and/or mentoring junior staff
  • Proficiency in hydraulic transient modeling software platforms, such as Hammer, InfoSurge, Impulse, and WANDA
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
