The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Academy Assistant to support the Evidence-Based Teaching Academy. This is a part-time position that will work closely with facilitators and staff to ensure the success of the academy.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and maintain the academy's physical space, including distributing supplies and materials.
- Assist facilitators with presentations and activities, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for participants.
- Respond to inquiries from participants and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with Grove Center for Excellence staff on various projects and initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least one year (two semesters) of experience serving as a learning assistant in a math or science course.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
