Job Overview

Position Summary

St. Paul's Child Care Ministry is a community-focused outreach of St. Paul's County Line Church, dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment that promotes children's spiritual growth. The Childcare Provider will work closely with the Assistant Director and Director to oversee daily operations within the classroom. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive and develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute educational programs and classroom activities effectively.
  • Facilitate the emotional and social growth of children.
  • Monitor, document, and assess individual children's participation and progress.
  • Actively engage with children during activities.
  • Oversee daily tasks including diapering, feeding, cleaning, and assisting with toilet training.
  • Lead and manage the classroom environment.
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's daily experiences and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all ministry policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and at least 18 years of age (21+ required for infant care).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare environment.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Check.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
