Job Summary

Crossroads At Delta Assisted Living Facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Specialist to join our team. As a Resident Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication accurately and precisely to residents in a fast-paced environment, working closely with residents in a respectful manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Provide resident care as defined by Crossroads Management and the Resident Services Director.
  • Respond to emergency and routine calls via the pendant call system.
  • Assist with meal preparation, setup, and serving in the dining room.
  • Make beds and check resident rooms for trash and soiled laundry.
  • Notify supervisory personnel of any situation that may have an adverse effect on quality customer service, safety, productivity, security, or resident well-being.
  • Document resident care using iPad and laptop computer.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age, in accordance with Federal Law and Standards.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing preferred.
  • Passionate about working in an elderly community and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively manage own time, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with staff and elderly residents.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow through with verbal and written instructions.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
  • Meet a required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policies.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiries.
Physical Requirements
  • Consistently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, grasp, twist, and turn, talk, listen, and hear.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
  • Medium physical strength required to perform work.
Compensation

Starting at $17.00 an hour. Differential pay offered for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday.
