Available Shifts:

  • Afternoon Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
  • Night Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM

Position Summary
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting residents with their daily living activities. The CNA engages with residents in a respectful and dignified manner, fostering a trusting environment.

Training Opportunities:
The facility offers to cover the costs for Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) training and examination, which must be reimbursed if employment is terminated within six months.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing resident care with a focus on dignity and individuality.
  • Ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility, including maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Delivering resident care as outlined by management and the Resident Services Director.
  • Responding to emergency and routine calls through the pendant call system.
  • Assisting in the preparation, setup, and serving of meals in the dining area.
  • Maintaining resident rooms by making beds and checking for trash and soiled laundry.
  • Reporting any issues related to customer service, safety, or security to supervisory staff.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of care terminology and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living.
  • Documenting codes using an iPad.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years, in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Possession of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (optional).
  • A genuine passion for working with the elderly and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate departmental needs.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills with staff and elderly residents.
  • Capability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
  • Adherence to required work schedules and company attendance policies.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and reference inquiries.

Physical Requirements:
Job responsibilities require:

  • Consistent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, grasping, twisting, and turning.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Medium physical strength to perform the required tasks.
