We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Posterity Group LLC. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals in a detention/correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities- Treatment of Mental Health Conditions: Provide evidence-based treatment to individuals with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Emergency Response: Respond to and coordinate response to medical emergencies, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Telehealth Services: Provide telehealth services to patients as needed, using video conferencing equipment and electronic medical records software.
- Program Development: Develop, manage, and monitor patient treatment plans in coordination with behavioral health technicians.
- Training and Education: Provide training and education to medical staff on mental health topics, including risk assessment, housing recommendations, and crisis intervention.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Serve as a mental health consultant to other health professionals at the facility, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Education: A Doctoral Degree in Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
- Experience: Minimum one year of clinical practice at the licensed independent level as a clinical psychologist.
- Licensure: Hold a full, current, and unrestricted license at the Doctoral level for the independent practice.
- Additional Requirements: Meet requirements for inclusion in the National Registry of Psychologist Providers if graduated after January 1, 1982, and meet requirements for Health Service Psychologist or Health Service Provider under appropriate state of practice statute if Doctoral degree was received prior to January 1, 1992.
