Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Behavioral Health Provider at a facility that houses individuals detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to inform treatment plans and services for detainees with serious mental illness or disorders.
  • Provide direct mental health services, including on-site counseling, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse education.
  • Consult with medical and contract staff to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment.
  • Develop and implement specialized programming within a Modified Therapeutic Treatment Community model.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide mental health treatment to individuals with complex needs.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-approved program.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Licensed Psychologist at the independent level.
  • Current, permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice independently.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing and managing a new mental health treatment program and a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model.
  • Experience working in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting.
