We are seeking a talented Nurse Manager of Med Surg Oncology to join our team at Methodist Hospital. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take on a leadership position and shape the future of patient care in our medical oncology unit.

About the Job

As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for staffing your unit(s) in accordance with organizational goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for identifying modifications in staffing based on patient acuity and census.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing professional to take on a leadership position and make a lasting impact. You will have the chance to build and maintain a high-functioning team, plan, organize, facilitate, and direct patient care delivered on the unit, and meet unit productivity targets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for staffing your unit(s).
  • Identify modifications in staffing based on patient acuity and census.
  • Plan, organize, facilitate, and direct patient care.
  • Meet unit productivity targets.
Qualifications
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • At least one year of applicable experience is required.
  • Three years of applicable experience is preferred.
