Overview of the Role

The Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager of Medical Surgical Oncology to oversee the daily operations and provide exceptional patient care. Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who will lead our medical surgical oncology department with expertise and integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive top-notch care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes, and fostering a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and continuous learning.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, but not required. The Nurse Manager of Medical Surgical Oncology will be accountable for:

* Creating a culture of excellence and accountability within the department
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
* Supervising and mentoring staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
