Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our avionics team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electrical systems for our launch vehicles, satellites, and supporting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed electrical schematics and PCB layouts for launch vehicles, satellites, and ground support systems
  • Perform circuit simulations and analysis to verify design operation and performance
  • Define requirements, write test procedures, and establish pass/fail criteria
  • Lead design reviews for avionics projects and participate in reviews of other portions of vehicle systems
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist other teams within the company
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on avionics for launch vehicles, satellites, or aircraft
  • Expertise in ECAD software, such as KiCad or Altium Designer
  • Knowledge of PCB design standards and best practices, including IPC and JEDEC standards
  • Experience with electronics lab equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with environmental qualification and acceptance testing of avionics hardware
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or LabView
  • Familiarity with ITAR regulations and export control procedures
