We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team at Silvi Concrete Products, Inc. in Swedesboro. As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while delivering concrete.
- Operate a ready-mix truck in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections, documenting and requesting repairs as needed.
- Load and pour concrete according to procedures, involving the use of ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes.
- Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records in accordance with company policies and federal and state regulations.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
- Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A or CDL-B) and a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Able to work a variable schedule, with start times between 12am-9am, and call in to the plant daily.
