About the Role

SilverWave Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Plant Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our industrial plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of plant equipment and systems to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of plant operations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to plant personnel on safety best practices and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain safety training programs for plant personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant safety or a related field.
  • Proven track record of ensuring safety compliance and mitigating risks in industrial settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business purposes.
