About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality collision repair services to our customers.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to plan and execute efficient repair processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and effective vehicle repair status updates.
- Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time delivery expectations.
- Make informed decisions regarding repair versus replacement, considering factors such as safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and trim, to access and repair damaged areas.
- Participate in mandatory safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure successful task completion.
- Certification in body repair is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer-specific requirements.
- I-CAR welding certification.
- Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
- Supervisory experience and ability to lead repair personnel.
