Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at KC Fixture & Display, Inc. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing: Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and descriptions against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counting processes, identifying and reporting discrepancies, and researching and resolving inventory issues.
  • Warehouse Operations: Label and put away inventory in a neat and organized manner, move products throughout the warehouse as needed, and empty scrap hoppers.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures, and meeting quality requirements.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, following directions provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management, and maintaining a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience driving a forklift, efficient time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually, and make repetitive movements, including bending and squatting.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
