The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services, and develop policies and procedures to guarantee efficient delivery of health services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage nursing unit(s) to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services and develop solutions to improve delivery of care
  • Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development, and evaluating of staff
  • Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems for assigned unit(s)

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing required
  • Strong ICU experience and dialysis experience preferred
  • ACLS & BLS Certifications required
  • At least 1 year leadership experience required
