Position Summary

As an Event Coordination Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of conferences, meetings, and special events. Your expertise will allow you to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' needs while collaborating closely with our operations team to surpass expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and assist clients with reservations.
  • Organize the utilization of the conference facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments, including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual.
  • Finalize all event details with clients and disseminate information to relevant departments.
  • Inspect conference rooms and ensure that Audio Visual equipment is set up according to client specifications prior to their arrival.
  • Provide business center services as required.
  • Maintain accurate records in the database and generate end-of-day reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and share insights with the team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
