Job Description

Fedtech Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control principles and be able to read and interpret complex design and fabrication plans/blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing daily first article, in process, and final inspections of manufactured products.
  • Maintaining documentation of first article inspections and inspection history of completed jobs.
  • Assisting in creating inspection procedures.
  • Performing incoming inspection of raw materials.
  • Reading and interpreting complex design and fabrication plans/blueprints and specifications.
  • Maintaining inspection documentation and customer records/requirements.
  • Performing miscellaneous quality duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in QA.
  • Extensive experience in machining/metal fabrication environment.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills required, including GD&T.
  • Excellent computer skills, good working knowledge of CAD is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards preferred.
  • PC-DMIS software experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, be self-motivated and communicate effectively within all levels of a shop environment.
  • Lift 50+ lbs.
