Job Summary

Maintaining a systematic approach to quality control is crucial for our company's success. As a Quality Inspector in our Lakeville facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to evaluate quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Track and analyze defects related to part quality, material, and packaging to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management and operators to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with employees to ensure a smooth and effective work environment.
  • Provide training and support to new or inexperienced employees as needed.

Auditor Duties:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing process audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications and procedures.
  • Audit inspection logs and production set-ups to ensure adherence to documented procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for variation reduction and implement process improvements in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years quality inspection experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASQ certificate preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use various inspection measuring tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate to high noise level. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
