Responsibilities

Provide technical support in an Enhanced Distance Support environment, offering Tactical Networks Remote Assistance (TNRA) to the US Naval fleet.

Familiarity with CANES software versions 1-4 on SIPR and NIPR enclaves is required.

Resolve TACNET Trouble tickets remotely and perform high-level server troubleshooting while maintaining Chat communications with ship's force.

Submit a Daily Status Report to TACNET supervisors.

Qualifications

Education:

A High School diploma or GED is required.

Candidates should be working towards relevant vendor/platform-specific certification, such as Microsoft role-based certifications, Red Hat Certification Program, CISCO Certified Network Professional, or Oracle Certified Professional.

Specific Education:

Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) qualification within 9 months is desired.

Experience:

One year of experience providing troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems in various environments is necessary.

Support includes assistance and resolution provided for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client-servers, Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and web pages.

Specific Experience:

One year of technical experience in support of TACNET or other Navy C4I systems is required.
