Job Title: Field Service Technician

Fives Group is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a technical professional with strong machine-based knowledge and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and electronic control systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and emergency service, advanced troubleshooting, and installation of machinery
  • Train customers on machine operation and maintenance
  • Conduct machine assembly work and ensure quality standards are met
  • Travel up to 70-80% throughout North America
Requirements:
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently
  • Proven history of strong mechanical experience and ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • PLC, machine control, and ladder logic experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to complete service and expense reports and manage administrative tasks
  • Valid Passport and driving license
  • BSME, BSEE, or equivalent degree
