Temporary to Permanent Position

Location: San Jose, CA

Compensation: $26-28/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or oversee daily inventory counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Prepare shipments by selecting and organizing products on pallets.
  • Process work orders and expedite necessary items to mitigate shortages.
  • Maintain accurate records for raw materials, intermediate products, disposables, and spare components.
  • Report any part shortages or logistical issues to the Warehouse & Logistics team.
  • Access cleanroom areas as required for issuing or counting materials.
  • Utilize a pallet jack and ensure the warehouse remains orderly and clean.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in manufacturing or regulated sectors such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
  • Availability for day shifts and flexibility to adjust to changing schedules.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a knack for prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on customer service.
  • Self-motivated individual with effective problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals across various levels and functions within the organization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Over 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role within a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software, particularly QAD.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations in a warehouse setting.

Candidates should reside within a reasonable distance to ensure timely attendance and flexibility for shift coverage.
