Job Summary

Sunrun is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Branch Leadership Team to develop and implement material delivery plans based on project installation schedules and service team requirements.
  • Manage all materials, documentation, and RMA processing for service and warranty projects.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip safety checks on vehicles to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Load and unload box trucks and other vehicles, and use forklifts to move pallets and large items from the warehouse to trucks.
  • Keep accurate records of items shipped and received, and safely drive trucks to delivery locations and unload goods.
  • Drive advancement in standard operating procedures and operate within and promote a safety culture in all warehouse functions.
  • Perform transactions in Oracle ERP for all material movement through the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and issuing.
  • Drive inventory accuracy and integrity through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Maintain auditable records and operate based on defined standards in the shipping and receiving of all warehouse materials.
  • Perform special projects and tasks as assigned while meeting and exceeding Warehouse Operations Standards.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 4+ years of driving experience with cargo vans and box trucks, and 1+ years of warehouse experience.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • A valid DOT certification.
  • Experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment, and forklift certification.
  • Experience with warehouse inventory management and demonstrated results in driving efficiency and cost savings in Warehouse Operations and material deliveries.

The ideal candidate will possess strong initiative, safety orientation, adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, and business knowledge skills, as well as foundational skills such as written and verbal communication, and basic math skills.

Physical Demands

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will be required to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment. The ability to sit, drive, or stand for long periods of time, and to regularly lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and 50+ lbs with assistance, is also required.

The starting salary/wage for this opportunity is $25.46 to $33.95, and other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, short and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
