Job Summary

Sunrun is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of materials to our customers and the safe and timely transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Branch Leadership Team to develop and implement material delivery plans based on project installation schedules and service team requirements.
  • Manage all materials, documentation, and RMA processing for service and warranty projects.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip safety checks on vehicles to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Load and unload box trucks and other vehicles, and use a forklift to move pallets and large items from the warehouse to trucks.
  • Keep accurate records of items shipped and received, and perform transactions in Oracle ERP for all material movement through the warehouse.
  • Drive inventory accuracy and integrity through cycle counts and physical inventories, and maintain auditable records and operate based on defined standards in the shipping and receiving of all warehouse materials.
  • Perform special projects and tasks as assigned, while meeting and exceeding Warehouse Operations Standards.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 4+ years of driving experience with cargo vans and box trucks, and 1+ year of warehouse experience.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • A valid DOT certification is also required.
  • Experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment, and forklift certification and experience are necessary.
  • Experience with warehouse inventory management and demonstrated results in driving efficiency and cost savings in Warehouse Operations and material deliveries are also required.

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of warehouse & vehicle operations, products, etc.
Physical Demands

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will be required to perform periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. The ability to sit, drive, or stand for long periods of time, and to regularly lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and 50+ lbs with assistance, is also required.

The ability to work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year, and to work safely in a warehouse environment and in public during deliveries, is also necessary. The ability to work alone and self-supervise, and to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work, is also required.

The ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings, and to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 lbs frequently unassisted), is also necessary. The ability to hear alarms and commands from a distance, and to use ladders and step stools to access materials, is also required.

The ability to push and pull hand carts and hand trucks, and to read labels and identify symbols, is also necessary. The ability to use company cell phone in a safe manner to complete daily tasks is also required.
