Job Summary

Ridewnow Powersports is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and our service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance, and recall work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Communication: Greet customers, inspect their powersports vehicles, and answer questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Repair Order Documentation: Document problems with motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and slingshots, and clearly describe them on the repair order.
  • Service Updates: Notify the Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion, and communicate these updates to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Service Recommendations: Advise customers on necessary and suggested services and costs, and offer additional services and products, including special promotions.
  • Quality Control: Review repair orders in progress to ensure quality and timeliness, and follow the status of a customer's powersports vehicle from service bay entry through completion.
  • Customer Review: Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer, and review the work order with the customer upon completion.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of powersports or automotive dealership experience.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Repair Order Writing: Experience writing concise but detailed repair orders for vehicles, powersports or automotive, desired.
  • Attitude and Work Ethic: A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Personality: Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, and dependable personality.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Motorcycle Endorsement: Motorcycle endorsement preferred.
