Head of Advisory Sales

Job Summary:
The Head of Advisory Sales will be responsible for driving the growth of ForeFront Power's advisory business. This role will lead the development of client portfolios and project pipelines, executing market entry strategies and pursuing new opportunities for growth in rapidly evolving markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of advisory services across four core areas: portfolio evaluation, project savings analysis, vendor selection, and project execution.
- Primary responsibility for customer sales and client retention.
- Assist marketing in segmenting, targeting, and positioning prospective customer messaging to improve lead generation efforts.
- Develop standardized and user-friendly reports for customers.
- Evaluate economic viability of project proposals and propose ways to increase project revenue streams or reduce costs.
- Interface closely with finance, development, engineering, legal, and management to guide projects forward quickly and efficiently.
- Evaluate emerging regulatory rulings and determine potential for market creation.
- Provide regular updates and sales pipeline, forecasting, and progress to management.
- Manage incoming leads and sales pipeline to assess opportunities quickly and efficiently.
- Understand customer savings propositions, including energy data and utility rate analysis.
- Lead contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with all functional groups to maintain (and increase where possible) deal velocity.
- Partner with the management team to grow the business, including recruiting, hiring, and managing a team.
Requirements:
- Desire to work for a leading company in the renewable energy field.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of direct sales experience with a proven history of exceeding sales targets.
- Solar or renewable energy industry experience needed, especially experience selling on-site solar, community solar, and renewable advisory services to F1000 customers.
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.
- Strong insight development and value proposition definition skills.
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
- Creativity and critical thinking skills to tackle a variety of challenges from the industry level to client-specific.
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic with the ability to proactively manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
