Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Autonomous Systems GNC Engineer-Associate Staff to join our team at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced algorithms for perception, state estimation, planning, and control of autonomous systems.

About the Project

The Control and Autonomous Systems Engineering Group is working on a wide range of projects related to autonomous systems, including navigation and estimation, perception and sensing, and controls and decision-making. As an Associate Staff member, you will contribute to these efforts by applying your expertise in state estimation, optimization, and object-oriented programming.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced algorithms for perception, state estimation, planning, and control of autonomous systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test end-to-end autonomous systems
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for real-world problems using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in autonomous systems engineering, preferably with a focus on GNC and navigation
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Linux environment
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-architected software
