Practical Nurse Specialist

Pennsylvania Associates LLC is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join their team. This role plays a critical part in saving the lives of patients by serving them in a safe environment that promotes long-term recovery.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and have strong compliance with medication-assisted treatment protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and dispense medication under the direction of a physician.
- Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or medical director is being followed.
- Giving and interpreting Mantoux testing.
- Complete blood draws.
- Assist in training staff in medical and health and safety matters, as well as assist in properly maintaining medical equipment.
- Provide training for staff development specific to healthcare needs, such as CPR, First Aid, and Blood Pressure.
- Educate clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification, as well as side effects and provide education to clients on lab results and all medical matters.
- Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and assist the primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.
- Other duties as needed.

This position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
