Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at WellSpan Health Services. This is a full-time position working 80 hours biweekly, with rotating weekends and holidays.

About the Role

As an Advanced Nursing Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and educating patients and their families on proper care.

You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, preparing patients for procedures, and arranging diagnostic and therapeutic services as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and assist with medical procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support efficient department operations
Requirements
  • Certificate in Post-High School Vocational/Specialized Training Required
  • 1 year of relevant experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) multi-state license or Basic Life Support certification required

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
