Job Summary

My Next Career Path Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting, grants, purchasing, and accounts payable areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of financial and accounting staff
  • Oversee the integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines governing financial reporting
  • Coordinate the preparation of and complete the review of annual audit documentation
  • Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Lead month-end close and ensure timely completion of financial reports
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least three years of professional-level experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of one year in a hospital setting
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software applications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in supervising, directing, training, and coordinating the work of a team
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting regulations
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
