Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Service Associate to join our team at Stifel. As a Client Service Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our Financial Advisors and clients by providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Account Management: Assist in the opening and maintenance of client accounts, including performing clerical functions related to account coding and record-keeping.
  • Document Management: Work with Financial Advisors and clients to obtain required documents and maintain accurate and complete client account records.
  • Operational Support: Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing mailings, filing, and answering phone calls, to support the day-to-day operations of client accounts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide reports and other information to Financial Advisors as requested, and assist in identifying situations that require attention or escalation.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various administrative duties, such as typing, filing, and mailing documents, as assigned by Financial Advisors and Branch Managers.
Requirements
  • Administrative Knowledge: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and file management.
  • Industry Knowledge: General understanding of the investment brokerage industry and securities regulations, with basic knowledge of investment products.
  • Time Management: Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, with excellent time management and follow-through skills.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional support to clients and Financial Advisors.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of clerical or related industry experience.
Compensation

The base salary for this position is $44,800 per year. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position.
