Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at American Traveler. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Job Summary:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings, using contrast agents, and applying other techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images, reports, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • Current professional license as required by the state.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid BLS through the American Heart Association.
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
