Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing general diagnostic studies safely with some degree of independence. You will demonstrate age-appropriate care towards all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Provide patient education on imaging procedures and results.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification.
  • ARRT, Maryland State License.
