Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our vibrant team at MWH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our social media initiatives, collaborating closely with our Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and Business Development departments. Your primary objective will be to elevate our online presence and effectively communicate the meaningful work we accomplish.

You will be responsible for crafting engaging content that reflects our core values and promotes MWH's exciting career opportunities. By leveraging current trends and maintaining high-quality standards, you will enhance our brand visibility. This position is perfect for an individual eager to take ownership of our social media platforms, spearhead innovative campaigns, and significantly broaden our digital outreach by sharing our compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Proposal, Business Development, and Talent Acquisition teams to devise and execute social media strategies that enhance MWH's brand visibility and engagement across diverse platforms.
  • Design campaigns that bolster recruitment efforts by showcasing our projects, company culture, employee experiences, and promoting open positions to position MWH as a preferred employer in the sector.
  • Compose, edit, and produce content that aligns with brand messaging, adheres to MWH's branding guidelines, and complements other marketing and business development activities.
  • Manage MWH's social media accounts and oversee content calendars, ensuring timely and effective communication of essential messages.
  • Track and evaluate social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Engage with industry professionals and influencers via social media to cultivate a robust network.
  • Oversee social media advertising initiatives, including budget management and performance assessment.
  • Interact with followers and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist the Marketing and Proposal teams with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in growing social media accounts, particularly on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Exceptional writing and video editing capabilities.
  • Awareness of public relations implications related to content.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, creative mindset, and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Experience conducting audience and buyer persona research.
  • Solid grasp of social media KPIs.
  • AS or BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training.
  • A minimum of 4 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on social media management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Submission of a resume and portfolio or work samples is required for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Talent Acquisition or career-related social media content.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry.
  • Graphic design skills.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
