Service Writer Opportunity at The Larson Group

We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team at The Larson Group Peterbilt. As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close work orders, providing detailed information to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Record, adjust, and report mechanics time for work orders and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with phone calls and customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate service activities to meet customer needs.
  • Supervise and assist technicians with diagnosis and repairs, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to obtain special order parts and sublet repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Manager and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree or trade school certificate preferred.
  • Experience in a dealership service shop environment is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
