Job Summary:

Ironwood Connection is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for timely delivery of our products to customers, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate Delivery Vehicles: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Assist with Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading of products from delivery vehicles.
  • Maintain Delivery Logs: Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
  • Ensure Product Security: Ensure all products are properly secured and protected during transportation.
  • Perform Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and general cleanliness.
  • Assist with Warehouse Organization: Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and shelving of products.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide timely and professional communication with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial driving and delivery.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery logistics software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Occasionally works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include heat and humidity.
  • Noise Level: Noise level may be loud at times.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Lifting: Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required infrequently.
  • Stationary Position: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
