Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and acquire new business deposit relationships, maintaining a portfolio of business deposit members. Create and execute a formalized sales plan focusing on target markets, revenue size, referral sources, and centers of influence.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Partner with branch teams and lead efforts in new markets to achieve business growth goals. Lead deal teams and partner interactions to deliver an exceptional member experience.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with centers of influence, including accountants, attorneys, community leaders, professional, and social organizations. Attend networking, charity, and corporate functions for prospecting and relationship establishment.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities for growth of additional revenue streams to the Credit Union via the expansion of existing member relationships through cross-selling of additional products and services, such as cash management, lending, merchant services, investment, insurance, and retail deposit/loan products and services.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee Know Your Member (KYM) execution and compliance requirements for members. Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulatory requirements.
  • Member Retention and Satisfaction: Responsible for member retention, satisfaction, and ensuring extraordinary service delivery. Communicate with business members about their accounts and any other issues pertaining to their business relationships, and perform site visits as necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: Growing, acquiring, and building new business relationships.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or better in Business or a related field.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, collaborative, commercial lending product knowledge, communication (written and verbal), analytical, business intelligence.
