**Hotel Housekeeping Dispatcher Job Summary**

This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel dispatch office, supporting housekeeping and maintenance operations by answering incoming calls, relaying information, and following up on tasks to ensure prompt and efficient guest satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Promote and provide excellent guest service experiences to internal and external guests.
  • Receive and dispatch communication from PBX, Front Desk, Maintenance, IT, and Housekeeping regarding room statuses and requests.
  • Coordinate radio communication from housekeeping to the appropriate team or department.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Housekeeping Department.
  • Perform input, updating, maintenance, and accuracy checks in Opera on room statuses.
  • Receive housekeeping supply orders and record inventory.
  • Manage laundry invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Assist with Lost and Found processes.
  • Prepare new hire packets with employee forms for new hires.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires by reviewing policies and procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Guest service and interaction experience required.
  • Knowledge of phone system and general office equipment preferred.
  • Ability to type and handle multiple phone calls required.
  • Ability to perform the GILA WAY: Greet, Interact, Listen, Appreciate.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent guest service skills, strong organizational skills, telephone etiquette, and ability to follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and gain cooperation of guests, employees, and fellow staff members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
