Hotel Painter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hotel Painter to join our team at AeroTurbine. As a key member of our shop, you will be responsible for coating and painting various parts, assemblies, and finished products using spray guns and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply protective or decorative materials to surfaces using spray guns and other equipment.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures.
• Clean parts using proper methods and equipment.
• Operate glass bead, aluminum oxide, and plastic media machines, steamer, and Oakite tank.
• Protect materials by masking or other approved methods.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Understand and apply technical data.
• Follow company policies, including safety requirements and instructions.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote good housekeeping practices.
• Maintain chemical usage logs and waste solvent drums.
• Provide training and assistance to new associates.
• Clean parts and assemblies as required.
• Tear down, inspect, and clean APU accessories and other similar equipment.
• Prepare documentation, including findings and test data.
• Perform light painting and touch-up of assemblies as required.
• Maintain FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms.
• Follow company policies, including safety instructions.
• Process Improvement.
• Exposed to chemicals such as primer, paint, solvent, and cleaning solutions, which require the use of respirators and PPE while working.
