Job Title: Linux Analyst

CBTS is seeking a skilled Linux Analyst to join our team in Cincinnati, OH.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Linux Analyst to work as part of our technical support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients using a variety of hardware and software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our technical support team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of small to medium-scale projects, working closely with project managers.
  • Establish and validate solution testing criteria for projects, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Design services in accordance with Accenture standards and vendor best practices.
  • Maintain and develop scripting to automate and monitor client systems, including Cloud Watch, OEM, and Splunk.
  • Stay up-to-date with vendor best practices related to interlinking technologies, including Linux, AWS Cloud, and Azure cloud.
  • Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintenance patching and new version installation.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates for repeatable build outs.
  • Work with vendors to ensure we meet our service level obligations.
  • Plan and implement small to medium-scale changes on production systems.
  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of small to medium-risk changes on production systems.
  • Install, configure, patch, and maintain appropriate technologies, including servers, databases, networks, and storage.
  • Design and assist in small to medium-scale disaster recovery tests.
  • Create and review technical system recovery plans.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Service Excellence.
  • Assist the Linux team in performing major upgrades of systems and associated products.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Linux Server Administration experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Public Cloud administration experience (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google, OCI).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on an enterprise-level operations team.
Preferred Skills:
  • AWS Cloud experience.
  • Scripting (python and shell).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with terraform, and ansible.
  • Splunk and OEM administration.
  • Ansible/Puppet/Chef.
