Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Linux and Windows Server Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. This is a hybrid role that requires expertise in both Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as experience with virtualization, storage, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including VMware, Linux, and Windows servers
  • Perform server migrations, decommissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor and remediate servers not responding to Logic Monitor
  • Assist with building out Windows 11 VDI workstations and vulnerability remediation
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve problems with software and infrastructure systems
  • Work independently and possess excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
  • Knowledge of virtualization, storage, and security
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Puppet, and Satellite
  • Middleware support and configuration using WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, and IIS
  • Storage experience with local and SAN storage, NFS, RDM, and RAID
  • Hardware experience with Dell, HP, Cisco UCS, blades, and chassis
  • Environmental experience with VMware, VMware Cloud Foundation, and Azure
  • Database management system experience with SQL, Oracle, and UDB
  • Security experience with firewalls, server security, encryption, and networking
