Advanced Practice Nurse

```Key Responsibilities```
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients, encompassing medical history, physical assessments, and necessary diagnostic procedures.
- Identify and manage both acute and chronic health issues, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Formulate and execute treatment strategies in partnership with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe medications and oversee patient reactions to therapies.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and chronic condition management.
- Execute minor medical procedures, including venipuncture and wound care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and seamless transitions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient interactions and maintaining precise medical documentation.
```Required Experience```
- A minimum of [4-6] years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical environment.
- Experience in specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, or neurosurgery is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with triage, patient ventilation, and coding is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner).
- Strong clinical acumen and expertise in primary care or specialized practice areas.
- Exceptional communication abilities and a talent for building rapport with patients across all age groups.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team.
