Job Summary

UMOM New Day Centers seeks a highly skilled and experienced Housing Coordinator Supervisor to manage our Rapid Rehousing programs with a focus on families. The successful candidate will provide support and supervision to direct reports, monitor grant compliance, and assist with program development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Rapid Rehousing and housing case managers' programs according to established policy and procedures.
  • Ensure program goals are met, according to grant requirements.
  • Oversee process for determining eligibility of all prospective UMOM RRH clients.
  • Develop and maintain client files for specialized grants.
  • Participate in grant audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in a related field.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience, with at least two years of experience in relevant roles (e.g. social services, homeless services, non-profits, real estate, housing advocacy, and/or community-based positions)
  • Minimum of two years' experience working directly with landlords, property managers, real estate investors, and/or affordable housing developers
  • Previous experience in case management and working with low-income/at-risk/homeless individuals, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Rapid Rehousing programs preferred.
  • Case Management experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources and understanding of community health and social service system.
  • Knowledge of programming related to homeless services and trauma-informed services is preferred
  • Ability to develop strong relationships within a fast-paced, collaborative setting that values diverse opinions; enthusiasm for helping drive change as UMOM becomes a more data-driven and outcomes-focused organization
  • Demonstrated successful performance outcomes.
  • Valid AZ Driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in a one-year period required.
  • 100/300 level auto coverage insurance required.
  • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Knowledge of current Windows OS, MS Word, Excel
