Job Title: Cook

The Phoenix at Tucker is seeking a skilled Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to residents in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
  • Manage food production in the absence of the Lead Cook or Food and Beverage Director
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with quality, quantity, and service schedule requirements
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures
  • Monitor and record equipment temperatures, refrigerator temperatures, freezer temperatures, cooking temperatures, holding temperatures, cooling temperatures, and food production quantities
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
  • One year of job-related experience, including food preparation and therapeutic diets
  • Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to participate in food services sanitation training to become SERV Safe Certified
