We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Medical Lab Technician to join our team at Health Providers Choice. As a Laboratory Medical Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood draws and urinalyses, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers.
- Record and report laboratory results, including test results and patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure accurate and timely laboratory results.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a medical laboratory.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
