We are in search of a Lead Business Systems Analyst specializing in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively as well as independently while tackling complex challenges.
  • Focus on SAP Global Trade Services Solutions - integral to our extensive ERP initiatives and utilized for screening sanctioned party lists.
  • Involvement in production support and enhancements (approximately 20% of the role)
  • Participate in the upgrade of GTS from the current platform - Enterprise 4/Hana, from inception to completion.
  • Engage in daily standups with the entire team.
  • Address incidents and enhancement requests via ServiceNow solutions.
  • Oversee configuration of GTS and its interaction with other SAP modules.
  • Lead role in MS Dynamics 365 related tasks.
  • Potential for conversion after the initial contract period.
  • Act as the primary representative for requirements gathering and collaborate with SAP partners.
  • Focus on 80% requirement gathering and 20% enhancements/support.
  • Support the expansion of GTS functionalities in alignment with business growth and regional needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT Business Analyst supporting our Global Trade Programs and the associated software that facilitates Trade Compliance and Reporting.

• Define systems scope and objectives through comprehensive research and analysis, leveraging a solid understanding of business systems and industry standards.

• Support, test, and enhance moderately complex to complex information systems, ensuring robust error management capabilities.

• Take ownership of support activities for assigned applications, ensuring secondary resources are well-trained and capable.

• Analyze business and user requirements, document user stories, and manage enhancements effectively.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analysts to develop and execute test plans, ensuring thorough user acceptance testing.

• Provide training for new users on supported applications as needed.

• Quantify the business benefits associated with projects or enhancements.

• Track issues, requests, and suggestions for assigned applications.

• Guide business stakeholders through the development of business cases for new applications, including cost/benefit and risk/impact analyses.

• Identify process efficiencies and recommend innovative software solutions, implementing and training end-users accordingly.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

• Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers to maintain application roadmaps.

• Provide Security role creation and modifications as requested by IT/SAP Security Teams.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience, including:

o 5+ years of SAP-GTS business systems analysis experience

o Completion of 2 full-cycle GTS implementation projects

o Strong hands-on configuration skills in GTS

o Direct experience in GTS Import and Export Management

o Experience managing Sanctioned Party Lists through GTS

o Proficiency in business process definition and integrated business applications support

o GTS Preference processing & Free Trade Agreements

o Experience with GTS risk management and vendor communication

o GTS integration with internal and external applications

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field

• Experience in Agricultural Commodity Handling businesses

• Familiarity with Customs and/or Customs Brokers

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Power Platforms

• Experience with Adobe e-Sign

• Strong customer relationship management skills

• Prior experience in leadership or mentorship roles

• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies

• Project management or Scrum Master certification

• Ability to work independently

• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer support skills

Physical Requirements

• Willingness to provide on-call support as needed.
