Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobility Transportation Driver to join our team at Life EMS Ambulance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting wheelchair patients to and from their destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily customer satisfaction by providing safe, efficient, and comfortable transportation of patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, hospital and nursing home personnel, and the general public
  • Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws, statues, and regulations
  • Drive in a safe manner, following Life EMS safe driving standards and techniques
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized vehicle and complete invoices and other paperwork accurately
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must maintain a valid State of Michigan Chauffeur license and a good driving record
  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be interviewed by a Life EMS designee and pass all Life EMS pre-employment requirements
  • Must meet all local licensing requirements and possess or obtain a current BLS CPR card
