Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Welfare Specialist to join our team at Family & Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct service to legal families, foster children, and their caregivers, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transportation and support to clients in their homes and community settings.
  • Document all case-related activities in the case file and state database.
  • Participate in foster parent recruitment and retention activities.
  • Work with the Adoption Specialist to prepare children for adoption and support adoptive parents.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Self-directed and willing to take initiative, with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients in an employee-provided vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $22.50-$25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, paid time off, and more.
