Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing healthcare policies, procedures, and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant program or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of six months experience in a healthcare setting, with experience in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months experience as a medical office assistant or CNA.
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology.
