Job Title: Head of Network and Datacenter Operations

NXP Semiconductors N.V. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the architecture, management, and innovation of our corporate network and datacenter infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the network and datacenter strategy and roadmap that aligns with the business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead roadmap planning and architecture development to support business growth and agility enabling Engineering product development and bring-up.
  • Manage a global team of network and datacenter engineers and architects who design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot the network and datacenter infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain the network and datacenter standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure the network and datacenter infrastructure meets the SLAs, KPIs, and all compliance requirements.
  • Partner with the Business & engineering teams to provide feedback and insights on the Network & Data Center products and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, with a strong focus on data security and privacy.
  • Work closely with the other cross-functional teams to incorporate modern operational disciplines into day-to-day operations to accelerate company-wide digital transformation initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Stay abreast of the latest network and datacenter technologies and trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in global network and datacenter operations, engineering, and architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading and managing network and datacenter teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, data center operations, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business goals and drive organizational success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
