Environmental Engineering Intern Position
WSP USA is on the lookout for an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in environmental engineering initiatives. Interns will collaborate on actual projects alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in an accredited program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Geologic Engineering. A keen interest in environmental restoration is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in engineering activities to enhance technical, social, and ethical competencies.
- Support project research, field investigations, and design computations.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents and budget estimates.
- Gather and organize project records.
- Complete training related to assigned responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited environmental engineering or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Basic skills in technical writing and office applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Master's or PhD program.
- Previous internship and leadership experience.
Compensation:
Expected Salary: $28.00 per hour
